THE WAR BETWEEN THE SENATE PRESIDENT AND THE CODE OF CONDUCT TRIBUNAL IN NIGERIA

                 Dr Bukola Saraki, the senate president of Nigeria refused to appear at the court on Monday which was setup by the Code of Conduct Tribunal in Federal Capital Territory Abuja .Trying his alleged failure to declare some assets during his tenure as Kwara state governor, giving reasons due to the counseling from his defending counsel and former president of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Joseph Daudu.
         The senate president has further announced that he would appear at the tribunal today through the reference of his twitter account @bukolasaraki yesterday. The prosecuting counsel Rotimi Jacobs (SAN) would be present at the CCT today were the senate president would have to pledge guilty or not guilty to the thirteen count charge enlisted by the CCT.
